Wow sorry i was unable to attend the call, Looking forward to the next one. Soon I hope.I have much more to learn
Thanks Phil

what type of devices are considered “noisy”? Is this something we could turn off long enough to ID other, more stable devices?

Noise is just the collection of all signatures that is not part of the one signature you hope sense finds. Like listening to someone far away in a crowded room of people at a party who are all holding unique conversations between each other. Make sense?

The data science team at Sense used the waveform of a plasma TV as an example. Device power wildly varies (50W to 500W) depending on how many pixels are turned on. Most video sources make the power usage look like noise. Drowns out smaller waveforms when one is in use.
