Effect of updates on older data

When updates of either the Sense firmware, Sense software app, or the cloud processing, is the older data, interpreted in a newer way?

E.g. I have had a night time dip of power from the day time power when solar is active. Thus, if the data is re-interpreted at the time of display in the app, would this old data be newly interpreted so that I wouldn’t see a night time dip, or would it remain the same, and only new data would appear without the night time dip?

Great question, Ira. It definitely depends on the situation. In the case of the upcoming Solar calibration fix, the old data will not be retroactively corrected. Therefor only new data will appear without the dip.
