Integrate Usage data from EnergyWise

Maybe this is limited as far as who it would appeal to but for those of us who have Cisco networks or other devices that support EnergyWise, it might be helpful to figure out the “Always On” use. I have a couple UPSes that are not Cisco so other manufacturers use it.

Anyway, with Power over Ethernet, a lot of us who have it power their devices from network switches rather than plug them in and the switch “knows” how much power is being used. Granted, it is not the million times a second reading but it might be a good way to split out that “Always On” load people see.

Here is an example of the data from my switch and I do actually use it to power non-PoE devices with PoE splitters, like Raspberry PI devices, Phillips Hue hub, SmartThings hub, and a Tempest Weather station hub.

From the outputs below, you see overall power is 140.3W but the switch, itself is pulling 99.0W. Everything else pulls its own wattage. I will list them out after <–. It is just a thought.
