I live in a rented house with a roommate and his large family who complain about the cost of electricity because everyone (except me) leaves things on. When I saw the advertisement for Sense I bought it and installed it in May 2022.
I also own a Tesla and would like to charge it at home instead of at the supercharger. The few times I unplugged the dryer and charged my Tesla, my roommate complained that someone needed the dryer and that charging my car would use tons of electricity and he wanted me to pay the entire electric bill when I charged my car.
Of course I refused to pay the electric bill and he told me not to charge my car at home. Once I install the Tesla charger Sense will tell me exactly how much it cost and I will pay that amount.
So far I still have an “always on” bubble and “other” bubble. I bought Kasa smart plugs to help Sense identify devices. Once those bubbles are gone I will install the Tesla charger.
