@mstraka606 and @marcbh, this is something we’re working on. For example, we recently released detectors for some connected TVs using network device data. We plan on expanding use of this data to other connected devices and have plans to directly integrate with other smart home devices.

…anyway I believe the approach is the fastest way for you to make the
next traunch of progress.

this is why training would be useful. I’m not suggesting we turn on a device and turn it off, pin point the start and end and name it, and then expect it to be identified.
I’m suggesting that we start and stop it, label it, and then send that data to the Engineers so that they can get an accurate picture. How else will they create models? It seems based on complaints that their models were not very good and it has taken year(s?) for user data to refine them. Why not enable us to provide information.
Now I am not an expert, so maybe this is not a good idea.
