A couple more devices were detected. Woohooo.

  • “Device 1” which I have not figured out what it is yet
  • “Motor 5” which turned out to be my wife’s hairdryer
  • “Heat 5” which I am not sure what it is yet either. It only seems to turn on very late at night so I’ve not been able to go around the house to see what may have triggered it.

So my running total of devices is:

  • Hue Lights - 24 hours, immediately after adding the Hue Hub
  • Fridge - ± 40 hours
  • AC - ± 96 hours
  • AC Fan - ± 96 hours
  • Air Compressor (was Motor 2) - ± 96 hours
  • Appliance Light (Refrigerator) - ± 1 week
  • Dryer - ± 10 days
  • Heat 1 - ± 10 days
  • Front Right burner on Stove - ± 17 days
  • Heat 3 - ± 17 days
  • Motor 1 - ± 18 days
  • Vacuum1 - ± 18 daysinstead of a traditional vacuum)
  • Ice Maker - ± 18 days
  • Washer - ± 18 days
  • Refrigerator Light (Garage fridge) - ± 18 days
  • Microwave - ± 18 days
  • Heat 5 - ± 30 days
  • Device 1 - ± 45 days
  • Hairdryer - ± 45 days

which api call returned this?

I have cloned the python repo, project works, tested all the methods, didnt see anything about device progress. So again, which of the API calls is supposed to have the device progress info?

OK - sorry for lifting your hopes on the in progress devices. The device detection progress info used be visible in Settings > My Home > Monitor near the bottom, but Sense pulled that about 6 months ago.

I think the data used to come with sense.active_devices. But no longer.
