Mine operates very similar and is also a Trane. Sense hasn’t detected either the indoor or outdoor fan as best I can tell and I don’t know why. For some reason sense is not detecting inductive loads for me. The only device it has was the washing machine motor.
I was curious because I’m trying to figure out if my heat pump compressor and fan are together my detected “heat pump”. Or if my indoor fan is somehow being detected in the system as a whole.
It seems most get separate detections for their compressors and fans.
