I have DTE for my energy provider, and was looking at the new TOU rates which I guess don’t apply to me because I’m on the residential rate plan.
This plan has a different rate after the first 17KwH. Is it possible to request support for this rate model?
What’s “capacity” vs “non-capacity” energy ? Does that depend on TOU ? If so, you have a tiered TOU plan. Right now Sense doesn’t have built-in features for multiple tiers, like the “first 17kW” per day. Tiering is complicated because it can be based on different time periods - tiering with my local utility depends on usage throughout the entire billing period, not for each day. And I have seen plans that have up to 5 tiers…
