Who to believe?

Ecobee says my outdoor Heat Pump was on 256 hours in May, or 10 days 16 hours.

Sense says my outdoor Heat Pump was on 249 hours in May, or 10 days 9 hours.

That’s about 15 minutes a day difference.

Why the discrepancy? Or who to believe?

I would look to the Ecobee for the more accurate answer. Having said that, there’s also a questions of interpretation. My Ecobee report for May says 129 hours (no breakout by thermostat), my Sense report for my two furnace blowers says 66+65 hours = 131, and my Sense report for my AC compressors says 25+49 = 74 hours. But there might be some heating hours in the Ecobee and Sense blower numbers. I wish Ecobee broke it out better.

I assumed this was my Heat Pump only as the difference is 7 hours. If I added in my Air Handler, that would make the difference 8 days and 5 hours (difference of 189 hours) instead of only 7 hours :man_shrugging:t3:
