See attached screen-shot, taken using Safari 16.1 on MacOS. Notice the main bubble shown is labelled “IMac” (capital I at the start). Yet, as the other screenshot shows, the device name is defined as “iMac”.
It seems the UI code is deciding to capitalize the names, causing this problem. It would be my suggestion that capitalization should not happen at all. The user will/can apply this as the define the actual name of each device.
If, somehow you want to insist on capitalizing, I would only do it if the name is all lowercase, but like I said, this is questionable.
