I currently considering putting in a hybrid inverter. Does anyone know where the best place to mount the CTs would be?
Any chance the solar CTs are able to read the DC from the panels if they are placed in position #4? Otherwise there is no way for sense to know how much solar was generated.

The post linked below may help you decide. As I understand it, there is no place to put the CTs that doesn’t miss something.

With a battery, you add at least one more current flow in and out of the system. Sense is only really built for two current flows (x 2 legs) so you’ll never be able to see everything happening in a battery system w solar.
CT’s can not read DC current ,so that location isn’t possible.

Good point - the energy flow inside a hybrid inverter is DC, to and from the battery.
Thanks all, looks like I can’t use Sense for this system.
