I’ve had my Sense Monitor since Q3 2018. It’s the 2nd unit I’ve had after the first was not able to be reconfigured when I changed the WIFI. I recently moved the clamps because my usage was in a different ballpark to the actual usage reported by my utility. Details of that are in this thread:
I’m yet to receive a utility bill following that change but I believe my usage will more closely match.
After moving the clamps I did a data reset and devices are starting to be detected again.
Here’s the issue I have now that is causing me to post. I have 3 X 14 year old AC units, the brand is YORK, models are…
CMA02411A - CASITA
CMA06011A - Living Room
CMA06011A - Master Bed
With no AC units running and the house more or less stable I have the following…
“Other” is large as it includes pool equipment, that has never ever been detected.
If I turn on the Living Room AC, this is what I get:
Notice how “Other” has been swallowed up and included in “Motor 1”. I know it’s in Motor 1 and not “Living” because if I raise the temperature so the cooling turns off Living goes to Zero and Motor 1 remains, until the fan automatically turns off after approximately 1 minute.
What’s the best way to correct this?
FYI, I’ve tried deleting “Motor 1”, it just game back a few days later.
Do I need to suck it up and accept the results as a limitation of the device or am I right to expect more from it?
