IFTTT on/off for x minutes

I know this notification exists in the Sense App but IFTTT integration of the “when x device has been on/off for y minutes” and all options currently available in the Sense App would be helpful for smarthome integration.

Case use for this: I have a well pump that is controlled through a smart relay so that I can turn it off when I’m away or turn it off automatically if a leak is detected in the house through strategically placed moisture sensors. “If WELL PUMP on for more that 5 minutes (Sense), then SHUTOFF WELL PUMP (SmartThings)” could prevent a home from flooding due to a broken pipe and a continuously running pump. Thanks for considering! Could be useful for irons, lights, etc. any application where control adds to the functionality of notification.

We need more IFTTT triggers in general. We currently have 2 triggers

  1. A device turned on
  2. A device turned off

Here is my wishlist of triggers. I’m sure some more creative people than me can think of more

  • A device has changed state
  • A device has been on for X minutes
  • A device has been off for X minutes
  • Solar production has been under X kWh for Y days
  • Consumption has risen over X watts
  • Consumption for the day has exceeded X kWh
  • Anything currently listed in the new “Significant energy changes” section in the app
  • Anything that can currently be a notification in the app
