Given the nature of the goal one can assume there are (live fat) copper wires running between a router and the outside … but I haven’t tracked what the latency issues might be. Should work.
I tried Powerline years ago and it didn’t work well with split panels. Now that could of changed by now.
I have Ubiquiti gear in my home as well. I was planning at some point to run something to mount on that side of the house. I guess this gives me a reason to do it sooner than later.
@ken2 How has the AC Mesh worked for you?
It’s worked perfectly for over 9 months now, hasn’t missed a beat. It picks up my Rachio and HS110’s in my detached garage and as of last month it connects my Enphase Envoy too.
