I have a device that was detected called “Motor 2”… I noticed that it seemed to detect Motor 2 when my HVAC turned on, and it didn’t consume a lot of energy… If it was actually cooling the house, the energy would have been easily between 1-3kW… But it was under 100kW… So I labeled it HVAC fan…
Now I am noticing that it also kicks on when my Gas Dryer kicks on and off… And also when my portable AC kicks on and off… And the power draw can be into the 1kW range…
Seems so random now, I really wonder if having that device in my device listing is helping at all… I am thinking of deleting it at this point because it’s not useful at all…
Anyone experience a similar situation?
