So my pool pump (after a few months) was finally detected yey! Soon after, it now shows as ‘always on’, it seems to have lost its detection. So here comes the question, will it be re detected, should I delete it from my devices since it no longer registers or is it best to leave it there hoping it re-registers?
This all too common, and the most frequent recommendation is “patience” while Sense sorts things out. That can take a while. So, I’d not recommend changing things, except perhaps to set it to alert you about on/off.

Just leave it be for now and see what happens. My pool pump runs and is shown in Other but never gets logged in Other. It goes who knows where in Sense land.
My prior single speed pool pump was found after a few months. Half the time Sense only reported 1 leg of it.
