My BMW i3 charging session ended today with me pulling the plug (instead of allowing the charging to end via car control). Sense continues to measure the device as drawing current. Note that overall current draw isn’t measuring this contribution. Ideas?
Sense missed the standard off-signature for the charger. It will probably show the bubble and treat as on until it does some kind of timeout check.
You might try “report a problem” under Device Settings. As I understand it, when a device is on, an option will appear to report “this device is not on”. I’m told that input reports directly to the machine learning algorithms to improve device turn off detection.
Maybe it also turns off the device in Sense??
You would think it’d be smart enough that id 4k W suddenly drops it does a check to see which devices are really still on pretty quickly.
