They really don’t have any good way that I’ve found. I find this lacking in some very basic ways
Since I’ve written that question Sense has a data export feature. I haven’t tried to answer my question with that, yet. lol.
I think this number is available in the monthly home report email that you can turn on. Also, you can just divide the total kWh (which is available for various time periods in the usage section of the app) by the number of hours in that period to get the average power value.
That said, I can’t think of anything that number would be useful for. Over those time periods, energy consumption tends to be a more useful metric for me.
Pretty easy to get those averages out of export if you know how to use Pivot Tables in Excel, or equivalent in other spreadsheets.
