How Many Cycles Does Power Quality Look For?

@JustinAtSense Sense does anyone know hown many cycles the voltage is out of range before it is logged? I am assuming like 10 cycles which is what most monitors do but can someone please confirm.

Hey @jeepcherokeeoffroade! It is a 7-second average for the voltage, so nothing to do with cycles. When the voltage drops 10% below the normal threshold (e.g. a 120V outlet dropping to 108 or below), it’s called a “dip”. When it rises 10% above the normal range (such as a 120V outlet jumping up to 132V or above), it’s called a “spike.” When I say voltage here, it means the average voltage on a minute-by-minute basis.
