I charge my EV (chevy bolt) with the surplus power available from Solar if possible.
Up to some time ago it only recognized my EV when it was drawing 24 or more amps at 240 Volt.
To my surprise, this morning at 18 amps, it recognized my Bolt.
This is new (for me at least)
Has EV detection been improved?
The key issue is ofcourse the start pattern, but the amount of energy it ends up with is variable in my case.
Anyway: pleasantly surprised!
