It’s been a while since my sense has found anything. I had been looking forward to the near immediate power tool detection but it’s been over a week since I’ve used one. I also know how much sense loves to find solenoids, but it hasn’t detected my humidifier even with my Ecobee.
Are the gerbils still running on the wheel?

I’m going to be moving my sense to it’s final resting place in a few months and I just want to make sure it’s working ok.

For a lot of devices, Sense needs to see a certain number of power cycles. If you’ve only used your power tools a couple of times, I’d expect Sense needs to see more use cycles before it would be able to detect it.
