Monthly Reports?

Received another pretty much useless Energy Spotlight for January. I’m starting to wonder if it’s because I have the Wiser version of the monitor and app.

That’s a good question for the support folks. What does your monthly summary in the app show ? My Jan Snapshot arrived and looked good (except for the costs - we’ve been using floor heating than usual, just to try to not use as much gas).

Sense is definitely tracking my usage OK. There’s just a breakdown somewhere…

Sorry you’re experiencing this issue.

Based on your usage cost and monthly report, it looks like your electricity info may be set in fractions of a cent rather than price per kWh in whole cents.

  1. Open the Sense app.
  2. Go to Settings > Electricity Info > Your Rate.
  3. Ensure the value is a whole number (e.g., 15 for 15¢ per kWh) and not a decimal (e.g., 0.15).

A common mistake is entering the price per kWh in dollars when the app is asking for the price in cents.
