Antenna replacement?

As part of our kitchen remodel, the electrician (while working at the breaker panel) seems to have severely kinked the sense antenna cable at the connector and now the WIFI kicks in and out depending on how I wiggle it. The wire insulation actually now no longer extends into the crimp. Currently it works, but I am afraid that it will go out as a function of time and temperature, etc.

I contacted Sense support and all I got was a link to amazon, where no replacement antennas are anywhere to be seen. I guess simple replacement parts such as this are not available, which is disappointing. I’ve had it since 2018 and no, I won’t just buy a new unit.

Has anyone here had any luck with a third party antenna? It seems antennas with SMA connectors are available (example),

I have several antennas from old routers and the sense connector that you can have, if you are interested. My monitor is connected outside the panel.

Thanks for the offer and thanks for pointing out that the antenna side is also just an SMA connector (I thought that side was molded, but never looked!), so I will take the opportunity to get something with a longer cable so I can move the Sense unit in a more serviceable place (A or B, using the Sense holder). The electrician wedged the sense in the most crowded place behind all the wires at (D) with the antenna cable forced into a 90 degree bend touching the main shutoff. I now relocated it to (C).

As you can see, the punchout for the antenna is in the lower right and the existing short antenna cable limits the placement to the lower 1/3 of the panel, which is not ideal.
