I wasn’t able to find a related thread, sorry if this is repeated somewhere
The custom alerts capability is really useful, for example “washing machine has been off for 15mins”. There are a couple which would really useful for other people in my household.
Of course sense could implement another IFTTT channel for the custom alert, but I’m looking for a way without sense needing to do any more work (although I’d love it if that fit into priorities).
I’ve tried a few approaches:

Having them run the sense app under my login would flood them with notifications, and sense doesn’t seem to support multiple users yet. Possible to create multiple accounts connected to same Sense device? - #3 by kbiz

Has anyone found a way for that event or iOS notification to trigger an event beyond the phone ? For example, to also send an email or fire an IFTTT trigger ?

There are capabilities like what Pebble does to access all notifications from all apps, and forward them to the smart watch. But that seems to need approval from Apple: ios7 - Apple Push Notification - Can read all incoming messages like Pebble App? - Stack Overflow

I thought an like app pushbullet might help, but it doesn’t seem to cover this case.
