Missing Notifications in iOS

My notifications for devices coming on and off stopped last Friday. I am using iOS on an iPhone 6 Plus. I checked everything and could not figure out why they stopped. I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. Now the app doesn’t even show up in the Notifications menu of the Settings screen.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi Todd. We’re currently looking into your issue, but we just need a little more information. Have you logged into Sense on another phone besides your own? If so, that may be the issue. Right now, we only support notifications to one device at a time, so if you logged into another iOS or Android device, we only send notifications to the last device you used.

Jonny,

It is possible that my father logging in to take a look at the app results
could be the cause of the problem. How do I go about changing the password
on my account?

Hi Todd,

That could be it. One way that you could fix this problem is by logging out and logging back in on the phone that you want to receive notifications on (I assume it’ll be your iPhone 6 Plus). If that doesn’t work, please let me know.

If you want to change your password, you have to go to the login screen, and click on “Forgot Password”. There, you’ll have the ability to reset your password.

I had the same issue. I signed into my sense app on a second device (android) and notifications stopped working on my iPhone. Signing out and signing back in fixed it.

Is this a bug or a feature? I’d like to be able to be logged in from more than one device, like my iPad and iPhone, and not deprecate the features of one device over another. Further if and when the web based app arrives, I would expect notifications (MacOS and iOS) to work on all three simultaneously.

Hi David,

Thanks for the feedback. This is something we are going to be working on resolving in the near future, so that you will be able to use notifications on both your iPad and iPhone. Sorry for the inconvenience!
