Our in wall oven was left on at a high temperature for over 6hrs tonight and there was no possible way Sense could have alerted me.
I wish Sense would account for devices that cycle to maintain temp.
One possible way around this could be to add a ‘custom alert’ modifier allowing a user to set a ‘cycle delay interval’.
This might have been (but probably not) something that ‘progressive device detection’ would have addressed but that project which was scheduled for release in 2021 seems to have been abandoned.
Thankfully my daughter took whatever she was making out when it was done or things could have ended up much much worse.
