So far, the only really helpful use of Sense Monitor notifications I’ve found are for our dehumidifier in the basement. The water “bucket” in bottom of dehumidifier has a float which when reaches top of bucket, turns the dehumidifier off. I have set a notification in Sense to tell me when it’s been off for over 2 hours. I then know that the bucket is full of water and needs emptying. Simple but works!

I setup alerts to let me know if the fridges or freezer is off for 75min… Also if someone goes nuts in the tub and causes the water heater to be drained, but the damage is done once it’s reheating long enough for me to get an alert.
