Thought this was a little comical. Microwave detected but when I put on defrost, the power goes on and off. So it registers Every single time the magnatron powers up!

It would be interesting to see if there is another meaningful component of power related to the entire microwave cook cycle (i.e. turntable motor or light) that is eventually detected and merged. But until then, this is the best way to accumulate total power - better than an unknown…
I agree. When I am warming something up or cooking, it’s on full power. No cycling.
I’ve seen the same cycle from our microwave when on defrost as well. At first I thought something was wrong with the Sense but then I realized what was going on.
