How do you even go back to Sense, if I open the app to try to setup a new meter it says download Schneider, do I need to sure an entirely different email. This green meter is garbage now
@jshlnsctt , I’m going break this out as a separate technical questions. Another user pointed out that you have to get rid of all the Schneider / Wiser apps if you want to go back to using an orange monitor.
If your old account is still linked according to sense to your wiser monitor then you need to either use a new email, or change the email on your old account. I changed the email on my old account to a burner email and was able to remake a new account and link it to the orange monitor with my email.
If you try to login to the sense/wiser app it may tell you to use the schneider app, but if you login via the web interface https://home.sense.com/ you will be able to login with your old sense email/password pre-migration. From there you can change your email in the account settings page to a new email. Then with the sense app, you can make a new account with your proper email and link the orange monitor to it.

None of this worked for me. Deleted everything, changed emails, reinstalled - still sends me to Schneider - who has so far proven to be useless. I’m afraid after several years - this is just going into the bin as the Schneider home app apparently doesn’t have a category for sense and I’m too frustated and time constrained to “work through” was has simply been a juvinile process, apparently structured by 12 yr olds.
@cklunt , can’t tell whether you are trying to do this with only an existing green Wiser monitor or whether you are trying to use the Sense app with a NEW orange monitor ? This process and the the Sense Home app will only work with a new orange monitor. Sounds like you trying with something older, but not clear which variant. There are probably others here who would buy a working orange monitor from you, if that’s what you are dealing with.
Right sorry if my answer wasn’t clear. I understood the question to be how do I reuse my sense account for an orange device.
If you have a green device it’s a one way journey, you cannot go back to the old app unless you buy a orange device. I was lucky enough to find an Orange device on Ebay, never used, for quite cheap. As a result my green device is unplugged and on the shelf never to be used again and the orange sense device has taken it’s place.
