Migrated to SE App. Please help?

I am probably one of the oldest customer of Sense and one of the first to have started here with the product wish list, etc. I feel extremely saddened now with how I got pushed into SE and the SE app completely destroys the great user experience and data points I was used to measuring and monitoring.

Just wondering other than purchasing a brand new SENSE unit is there any possible way I can continue to leverage the Sense app instead of this God Forsaken SE app? Can something be done to help this old hand out?

Sadly, there is not much, if any, good news to pass on to you. I’m afraid the only way you can get back to the sense app is by getting a sense monitor. Schneider really screwed everyone with their firmware update.

At least you got the app to work (connect), my SE monitor still doesn’t connect to the app.

Like many others here, I ended up purchasing a new sense (the orange one) monitor. I am very happy with the new monitor.

I’ll wait for sometime but definitely not going down this path again. What’s the guarantee the orange becomes blue because once again Sense decided to offload to someone. Its not like I am dying without it.

If I replace will with Emporia or Aeortec.

Not sure if you saw this, it’s been going on for a while…

I understand where you are coming from, but I think you’re a little naive if you think the current Sense monitor, Vue or Aerortec are the long-term products for energy disaggregation. If you’re watching the market, the functionality of all these start-up products is being added to load centers (breaker panels) and to utility power meters. If you want to avoid eventual obsolecensce, you should be looking at products like Span, or Schneider’s smart panel, or at meters from Landis & Gyr or Itron, that already have Sense baked into them. I’m betting on the meter approach long term, simply because there is more utility momentum for that.
