iOS app notification number

I’ve noticed the iOS app will have a number in the upper right corner of the icon aka a notification. Would be nice if there was a way from the app to figure out what that notification is. Sometimes it’s obvious as one will get a pop-up about device detected, but majority of the time it isn’t obvious.

Yes, I agree this needs work. Notifications aren’t persistent unless you catch them at the time they appear.

Oh for a LOG!

Perhaps the Now > Today list could toggle to allow alert filters at that level of the UI rather than having to go to each Device setting and toggling “Show on Timeline” or the “Basic Notification”.

I am having this issue too, I get a notification and if it is a new device it is obvious what it is. If it is not a new device it is not easy/impossible to find what the notification was for. Maybe there should be a red dot next to the event in the “Now” timeline showing any events that are notifications.
