Hi, all, just a quick thanks to @dannyterhaar and everyone here who reported their issues in detail. Our engineers are hard at work on a fix!

Yes, today the problem is worse. I can’t see any data at all. Just orange dots dancing forever.
It would be nice if Sense could suspend these “your monitor is offline” e-mails if they know that the problem is on their end and not local to the unit. (Yes, I rebooted the device, but nothing changed).
I wish the system a fast recovery.
OK, everything seems to be functioning again. Whew!
It hasn’t been resolved for me yet.
When I go to solar i see the hourly bars for usage & generation :
But at both the meter:
and the “now”:
there is no data available.
When i go to settings → meter
it says offline but when I ping it from the local lan:
— sense ping statistics —
5 packets transmitted, 5 received, 0% packet loss, time 4001ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 4.896/5.894/8.380/1.291 ms
For me the situation is still not resolved @ 11:23am (pacific)
I’m seeing similar issues right now (May 2, 18:25 UTC). How much of a buffer do the Sense devices have in them so that if the Sense “cloud” APIs are unavailable that the data is still queued and sent later?
I think it is 6 hours.
Same here… Wonder if this coincides with the other ticket I just opened that (since the update earlier this morning) ive seen serval "sense monitor offline messages with the latest one 7 mins ago (15:14 EST)
So i just got off the phone with support…
Apparently, Sense device detection misidentified their main server as an ice maker and the scheduled rules shut what it thought was the ice maker off once the weekend was over and there were no more drinks to be made.
Undoing the problem and creating a manual rule for detection has proven harder than they suspected today. But it should all be back up soon.
LOL
Best reason ever
At 4:25 PM Eastern the monitor is back sort off. It showed up for a minute and then we have the dancing balls again. Waiting for my monitor to spit out some ice cubes so I can make a drink. Proost
