Can’t use the old Wiser app anymore to view historical data ![]()
Mine says connected but then says I need to set it up every time I open the app. The solar is just the inverse of the consumption and totally incorrect. And still shitner hasn’t responded to the support ticket
I’ve officially given up. I just bought a replacement Sense unit on eBay and will be throwing the Wiser in the trash.
online sense web you can still see old data
I’m sure sense sellers on ebay are like blowing up compared to last week… looked a bit myself…
was seeing the same, then yesterday afternoon I hit continue, and it said success .. after that i got my old devices, and some history started showing
Yea so some functionality is appearing and some things are still not working. Looks like we’ve become beta testers while they create the program. Beta testers with no input.
Lack of communication is the biggest issue. Customers are creating support tickets and those tickets never get replied to. I have one ticket that is now over two weeks old with no reply from Schneider. This behavior reduces customer confidence in their company/products. It would do wonders if they would just communicate on what issues they are aware of and a timeline of when they expect to have each issue resolved. What pushed me to buy a Sense unit wasn’t that the Wiser app changed and now has a different look and feel. What pushed me is that Sense actually responds and communicates with their customers unlike Schneider.
This has also made me question if I will continue purchasing APC brand (a Schneider subsidiary) battery backups for my data centers going forward as my confidence in Schneider Electric has been severely reduced by this whole experience.
Just swapped the Wiser for a Orange Sense. The new sense has WIFI and Ethernet. So far so good. I’ll setup solar after the sun comes up.

Very disappointed. I am wasting over $400.00 for the Wiser Energy Monitor and countless of hours trying to migrate my Wiser Energy Monitor App to Schneider App unsuccessfully. I have always think that Schneider or Square-D is a reputable company seeing Power Panels and Breakers in use everywhere at home and business. Not anymore a fan of Schneider or Square-D Products and I will not recommend any of their products in the business I have dealt with. Thinking about launching a class-action lawsuit.
So on Friday, 1 Aug 2025, I reached out to SE Support with the issue I was having regrading unable to complete setup. I described what the issue was in detail and what all I had tried to resolve it with no luck. Within about 2 hours, support responded back and said he was going to call to speed up comm but I didn’t have a phone number listed in my account so he emailed. He asked me to open the APP and see if I was seeing data and to let him know.
Show enough I was seeing data (two hours before when I enetered support ticket I was not seeing data) so either Tech Support is able to reset something or SE did a overall reset of something or it was just time that was needed (to wait) which was a good 48 to 72 hours for it to convert and work. Either way I responded and told him I would give him the credit because it is working now.
Now as far as the data it provides, not the same as Sense but at least I am getting something now and look forward to seeing if they will improve their APP as right now the app is mostly the same as if I just used an AMP meter to measure power usage (meaning it is an over priced amp meter).
Good luck everyone!

Same. Got mine Friday and I just got back today from a few days away.
Back up and running in a few minutes. Got it off eBay.
I finally got a reply from Schneider on my ticket regarding all the bugs and missing features. Here’s their response.
We have closed Case Reference # : (ticket number)
We provided the best possible solution and hope that you are satisfied with the resolution.

Hello,
The app team is working on the bugs and looking at the features. They have not given us a time line for the bugs and what features will be available.
Mine still gives an error about trying again and contact support if the problem keeps happening…
SchneiderHome sucks as far as I’m concerned. They haven’t sold me that the product is going to deliver anything.
On the other hand, I am content with my Orange Sense box.
It is doing as advertised.
Yesterday is the first complete day I had Schnieder Home NOT tell me I needed to setup my device as I logged in. I was able to see some of my previous devices. The granularity of data on horrific compared to Sense. Worse than that, the graphs show missing chunks of the timeline and when it shows values, it is way off!
For example, I purchased this to monitor my solar production, self consumption, and export. Yesterday my inverter said I produced 50.7kwh, though Schnieder said 11 kwh. The solar production curve was completely wrong. Additionally, I also monitor my car charging since it is L1, it ALWAYS charges at near 1350kw, when I look at the curve in schnieder, the 15 minute granularity was bouncing between 200 and 400 kw.
There isn’t a single number in this app that I trust.
Not only are they making themselves look like a bunch of incompetent fools with their SchneiderHome app, they’re making sense look really good in the process.
the only negative towards sense, which I only know from watching a video, is that the app said powered by sense on the bottom.
Hopefully they ditch that little logo from the app.
They did business together and they dropped people using their product for something that doesn’t work saying good luck talk to them. They don’t get any positive points here.
Sense did make efforts to help people that used the wiser energy app which was essentially a sense rebrand app with some wiser integration.
Schneider dropped the ball when they created their own SchneiderHome app and ditched the wiser rebranded sense app. At this point, Sense’s responsibility to wiser users is to keep whatever agreements they have with Schneider concerning the use of Sense’s core technology.
I don’t know who told who to go pound sand, but it all reads to me like Schneider is the one that made the decision to screw the green wiser users.

That’s my guess too. I’m sure there was a contract in place for Sense to provide the infrastructure, technical support and customer service to Wiser users and that contract likely was coming up for renewal and Schneider decided they didn’t want to keep paying Sense for this, so they brought it in-house.
Edit: It does make sense (see what I did there) for Schneider to fold the Wiser monitors into their Home app so all their products can be accessed/managed under a single app for a more unified experience. However, they definitely should have planned and executed this better as this has got to be one of the worst migrations I’ve ever seen and that is surprising coming from such a huge company that has plenty of resources. The poor migration really makes me think that they no longer care about this product and are just going to do the bare minimum and will eventually stop supporting it. Hopefully they prove me wrong.
