Since all this smart meter talk and monitors being unavailable after 2025, Will I be able to initialize/register/whatever it is you have to do to a new monitor after 2025?
I have a second monitor in a box that is unopened, should set it up now or will I be able to in the future?
From what I understand - you should be able to set up and use the monitor for an indefinite time. If you don’t set it up today for example, you should be able to set it up in a few months with no problems.
With that, who knows. I suppose everything is subject to change. It would be very strange though if the last day of sales (tomorrow) means that the 1 Jan 2026 the monitor no longer is able to work or be installed.

I am hoping for a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026.
Will I be able to use all the probes and wires from a circa 2019 green sense (wiser) to use my new purchased December 25 orange Sense monitor? I really want my energy monitoring to make Sense® again….
I was a green sense user and then last year it all fell apart. With Global warming we just now used our heat in Florida and I wanted to view my usage, and lets just say that Schneider ruined it for me (again) I hope this last ditch effort to get my bubbles back is successful for at least a few years. FPL doesn’t seem to be onboard with our smart meter integration with Sense yet.
You can swap out Green for Oranges. I’m pretty sure the CTs should be compatible - just branded differently. More info here.
