Is there a certain bug tracking number would should give support to say, “Hey, add me as an effected user to this problem.”?
Great question - added your information to our tracking for this bug, so you should be fine. It’s just much easier to manage through our Support system than having folks add in manually. If you mention “Device timeline/device status Doesn’t Match the ‘Now’ screen” or something along those lines, it will be added to the appropriate tracker.
@Beachcomber the number you are highlighting on the left represents the maximum value of your y-axis, not the real-time wattage.
Ah, I see. It looks like you’re on an iPad - mind sharing the below details and I can log this for our team so we can track it? I am not aware of any similar reports at this time.
- Sense App Version
- Device OS:
- Device Type:
38.0 Build 1568
iOS 14.6
iPad Pro 12.9” MXG02LL/A
If it’s possible to share a screen recording of this issue, it would help us diagnose if this is a UI bug or not. To do so, you may need to enable screen recording in your iPad settings.
- Go to Settings > Control Center, then tap. next to Screen Recording.
- Open Control Center, tap the button, then wait for the three-second countdown.
- To stop recording, open Control Center, tap the button or the red status bar at the top of the screen, then tap Stop.
It showed as pictured Wednesday Evening and even yesterday. Yet when I went to record screen just now, it doesn’t show the same as the multiple pics above. Looks normal.
I had someone check out your issue on our end and we’re unable to replicate any of the issues from this time-span. If you are able to screen-record this at some point, please share here and I can add it to the report so we can take another look.
Thanks for specifying the issue you’re referencing - text with accompanying screenshots is much more helpful than a screenshot that doesn’t point towards the specific issue.
Based on what you’ve shared, it looks like Sense is missing an on/off event or has a partial detection. If it’s a natively detected device (not relying on integrations or dedicated circuits), then the best thing to do is to keep an eye on it. If you’re noticing the accuracy of the detection is significantly off after a few weeks, deleting the device and waiting for Sense to redetect (hopefully with a more accurate model) would be an option.
