During the recent strong winter rain storm (Southern California), my 2009 solar system (was Solarcity, now Tesla) developed a ground fault and has been down since (I power cycled the system at night which cleared the fault, but the fault came back as soon as the sun came up
). First available service is in > 2 months (end of Jan 2026, which seems silly! They need to hire more techs.)
In any case I would have expected a notification from Sense that there was no solar production for over a week (stuck 24/7 at about -2W, i.e. the consumption of the inverter), but never got any notification. I did not notice that the yellow bubble was gone because I did not look at it during the day.
It would seems useful to get a notification in this scenario so I could have acted sooner. Thanks!
